Yolanda's experience running her own businesses, working client side and within marketing agencies gives her know-how on how to build relationships with businesses and support agencies. 

She has had a career spanning 30 years’ in travel & tourism, F&B, retail, media, representation, PR and communications. She has owned and managed her own restaurant and been responsible for client relationships at London Chamber of Commerce, which represented business interests with local and national Government.    

Yolanda has worked for British Airways and as an Account Director for Senior King whose client portfolio included DFDS (Scandinavian Seaways), Eurotunnel, Hertz and the Isle of Man Tourist Board.    

She was past Events Director and PR Director of the AWTE (Association of Woman Travel Executives), which promotes and develops the careers of senior women in the travel industry and past member of the AWTE Benevolent Board.

She has been responsible for running high profile events, PR and Brand Marketing initiatives for various organisations.   

She is a Co-Director of YS Comms Limited and founded Shipshape Consulting with Simon Johnson.
